My son just finished up his very first year of preschool. *sniffle* While Momma here is a wee bit sad at how fast her little man is growing up, I still had an ounce of excitement for the end of the school year to arrive because….that meant I got to create teacher gifts for the first time!
Yes, I can be both a sentimental mom and an excited crafter. It’s allowed.
So here’s what we gave to both of Rowan’s teachers: a personalized stationery set with the cutest little puntastic gift tag you’ve ever seen. And you can snag the FREE printable (or Silhouette cut file) if you’d like to do something similar for an awesome teacher in your life!
Stationery Teacher Gift Idea + FREE Printable Tag & Cut File!
The Inspiration
Before Christmas, both of Rowan’s teachers sent home a sort of “get to know me better” worksheet since all of us parents were eager beavers and prepping for holiday gifts. The sheets listed their favorites (colors, restaurants, stores, coffee vs. tea, movies vs. books, etc.), and both also noted that they could always use notepads and pens. Can’t we all….
As a fellow stationery junkie, this was right up my alley, and served as the perfect inspiration for their end-of-year gifts too.
Supplies

The Personalized Stationery Sets
I’m a huge fan of personalized goodies (just take a peek at my Project Gallery), and I also LOVE all things Erin Condren. Their stuff is just so darn colorful, cute, and coordinated! Oh, and functional too, since that’s, ya know, also important.

Here are a couple hacks I’ve shared for Erin Condren goodies, like how to create your very own interchangeable life planner covers!
And also a FREE snap-in meal planner/to-do list printable!
Ok, back to these teacher gifts!
I therefore got both of Rowan’s teachers a personalized Erin Condren notebook with their initials, a matching notepad with their names, and a colorful set of pens for all their doodling and note-taking fun.
At first, I thought about getting them each a personalized Erin Condren teacher lesson planner, but I wasn’t really sure if it would be super useful for a preschool class. Plus, they were out of stock when I placed my order so that answered my question for me. Besides, everyone can always use pretty paper and pens!
Printing & Cutting Out The Gift Tags
Since I am totally obsessed with my Silhouette Cameo, I did a print & cut project with these bad boys and printed out two tags on one 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of matte photo paper, just to add some extra sturdiness. You could also print them out on regular paper, glossy photo paper, or even card stock.
{If you’d like to learn about all things print & cut, check this out!}
And no Silhouette? No problem! Just use a pair of scissors or a paper trimmer to cut these to size. Easy as can be!
They’re sized at 3″ x 4″ and are the perfect little tag to hang off some cute ribbon.
I mean, how cute is this? Seriously. It fits in the palm of your hand and is SO colorful and fun. Plus, it’s a miniature sheet of notebook paper, and everyone knows that things are 10 times cuter in mini (or jumbo) form. They just are.
And here is one of the gift sets fully assembled! Doesn’t the colorful tag just complete it and pull everything together?! Gahhh, I love it. Color makes me happy.
Grab the FREE Printable Tag or Cut File!
If you have a teacher in your life who has the “write” stuff, go ahead and grab this free printable to jazz up their stationery gift! I’m also sharing the Silhouette cut file as well in case you have a Cameo (love!), Portrait, or Curio.
I obviously left my son’s name off the bottom of the tag in these files (everyone’s not named Rowan??), so it has a blank area at the bottom where your child can just sign his/her name. And since it’s 3″ x 4″, there’s plenty of space on the back to jot down a handwritten note of thanks too if you’d like.
Also, the three little holes on the left can easily be punched out with a hand hole punch (they’re already included in the Silhouette cut file though!), or you can just leave them out if you want.

Hey Christine. I am a teacher that is holding a Writing Celebration at my school. Is there any way possible you would be willing to allow me to purchase your TAKE NOTE- You have all the WRITE STUFF tags in editable form? We would love to adapt your cuteness into our table decor at the celebration.
Thanks, KP

Thanks for the freebie Christine. The design fits your bright and colorful style perfectly. I don't have kids (and no teacher gifts to give) yet, but I will totally adapt this for other uses. You are so right that mini and jumbo sized anythings are adorable.
