50th Day of School Shirt Idea: Make No MISNAKE!
My youngest son, Brayden, is in Kindergarten this year, and let me tell ya…kinderbabies love their celebrations.
I mean growing up is no fun, so why not think of fun, new, and exciting reasons to throw a party??
Since the school year began in early August, that meant their 50th day of school would be hitting in mid-October: right in the middle of Spooky Season.
Brayden decided that he wanted to add a little Halloween flair to his school celebration and wear a shirt that was “cool and creeEEEeepy.”
So, after perusing the Halloween party supply aisle, we decided that some inexpensive toy snakes would be just the ticket.
100th Day of School Shirt Idea
When my oldest son, Rowan, was in Kindergarten, he had the same teacher that Brayden has now, and they celebrated their 100th day of school as opposed to the 50th.
He also wanted to rock some unique gear, and we came up with a bugtastic idea for his 100 days of school shirt.

How to Make a 50th Day of School Shirt
This 50th Day of School shirt was super easy to throw together!
I actually whipped it up in just an hour the day before Brayden’s big celebration.
Nothing like Day 49 as a deadline. :)
Here’s how I made it:
- Created my mockup in Silhouette Studio with the HTV design
- Pulled the sheets of HTV from my vinyl organizer and vinyl scrap organizer then cut out each of the elements with my Silhouette Cameo
- Trimmed and weeded each design piece
- Applied the HTV design to the t-shirt with my Cricut EasyPress
- Hot-glued the snakes to the front of the shirt
That’s it!

As you can see, he was very happy with how it turned out and couldn’t wait to show it off at school.
