WTSHB’s Top 5 Posts from the First Half of 2015!

Since the first half of 2015 is now behind us (how is that possible?!?), I decided to take a little stroll down memory lane here at WTSHB.  It was fun seeing what posts from this year have been the most popular, and I thought I’d share them with you all!

And yes, I realize it’s a little silly doing a Half-Year in Review, but hey, why not?? ;)

David Letterman may be off the air now, but without further ado, let’s get this Top Ten Five started!

#5: How to Make a Birthday Chalkboard Poster

Birthday chalkboard posters are all the rage now, so I shared the method I use for making them.  Lots of people have emailed me pictures of ones they created for their little ones using this tutorial….I’m so happy it’s been helpful to so many of you and has helped to make birthdays even more special for your families!

#3: Easy Vinyl Storage Organization & TWO Free Cut Files

A couple of my favorite things in life are getting (and staying) organized, and saving money.  This seems to be the case with a lot of you too!  My post here showing how I turned an artist’s portfolio into an organizer for my sheets of vinyl and other Silhouette supplies has been quite popular with readers!  Ahhhh, I’ve always believed that organization shall set you free, and this organizer has done wonders for taming my craft supply chaos….I’m happy to hear so many others have been helped by it too!

#1: How to Turn Your Handwriting Into a Font for Free!

Apparently lots of people are like me and are font junkies who love personalization!  What better way to combine the two loves than creating a font of your own handwriting….and all the better if you can do it in five minutes and for free, amiright?  This post has been featured all over, including MAKE: Magazine!

I purchased one of the vinyl organizers as per your post and I'm so glad I did! I used to have them lying flat in random areas of my craft room or rolled up precariously, which meant too many pieces getting crumpled and ruined. So, thanks again for the tip!! :) --Brittany
