Meet the Hosts of Merry Monday!

The Hosts (4)

Welcome to Our Guest Host, Stephanie!

Meet Stephanie from Casa Watkins, our Guest Host for the next two weeks!

Hola Amigos!  Stephanie Watkins here! I am the Dominicana behind Casa Watkins.  Before I became a wife and mom, I was first a big time crafter.  I am so excited to share my DIY crafts and decor with you all.  My project gallery page has all my projects since Casa Watkins began.  Adivina Que (Guess what)?  Casa Watkins is not only a place for DIY projects and decor, but also a resource for bilingual homeschooling parents.  Inparting my Latin heritage and Spanish language to my children is very important.  Doing so is a bit of a struggle when you’re the only one who speaks Spanish in your home.  It’s even harder when you can’t find teaching materials for toddlers in Spanish and English.  So, I started making some of my own.  Check them out on my Spanish Tot school page.

My Featured Picks!

Here’s a couple shares from last week that I absolutely LOVE!  Make sure you visit the other hosts too to see their featured picks….it might be you! :)

See this wooden bowl?  Super cute, right?  Well what if I told you that it’s actually NOT wood?!  You will NEVER guess what Jamie from Anderson + Grant used to create this DIY bowl!  It just goes to show that you can create some truly incredible items with finds from thrift and hardware stores! {PIN IT!}

Ok, how amazing are these GIANT marquee letters by Steph at Crafting in the Rain??  They are quite the showstopper!  I love how you can easily customize them into any phrase/word and change up the paint color or even the lightbulbs.  I wonder if you could also do the same thing with some foam board instead of wood since I don’t have very good woodworking skillz….. There’s a new project that just got added to the never-ending DIY list! ;) {PIN IT!}
