Q. I love the file you used on {this} project! Can you send it to me??
A. I offer a lot of files for free, which you can see here. If the file you are wanting is not listed there, then I am sorry to say it is not available. This could be for a variety of reasons, including I don’t have commercial rights to the file and legally cannot share it, I may potentially sell creations using the file in the future, and/or I just don’t have the means or time to create the format of the file you’re needing.
Most of my free files are .studio cut files that can be used with the free Silhouette Studio software, and can easily be converted to PDFs.
Q. Thanks so much for the free file! Can I sell things I make using it?
A. I’m so happy to hear you’re enjoying creating things with a file I’ve shared! At this time, however, all files are free for PERSONAL USE only. That means you can make things with them for yourself or as gifts, but they cannot be used in anything you sell or on a blog or site that is monetized. Please review my policies for complete information.
Q. That item you made is so totally awesome! Can I buy one from you?
I’m glad you love something of mine just as much as I do and am honored you want to purchase one! At this time, however, I just don’t have the means to make and sell items. I am seriously considering opening up an online shop in the future, so maybe at some point they’ll be available for purchase. Stay tuned!
Q. I’m totally stuck on how to do something in Silhouette Studio or Photoshop! Can you please help me??
A. I’ll do my very best! I am by no means an expert using my Silhouette Cameo or Photoshop, but I love playing around with them. If you have a persnickety problem on your hands, just contact me and I’ll try my best to help, or at least point you in the right direction. You can also shoot me a message on my Facebook page as well.
Q. What is the name of the font(s) you used for this word or element on this project??
A. Ummm, I’m not sure! I have a terrible memory and literally thousands of fonts installed, so I just can’t remember everything I’ve used on every single project. Plus I have my files saved on two different computers and in various external sites, so I just don’t have the time to locate and open up each individual file every time someone wants to know the name of a specific font. I’m a font junkie too, so I’m all about scoring new fonts, but I’m sorry I can’t help everyone out more!
Q. Can you please come and teach me how to use my Silhouette?! Or can I come to you??
A. This question gets sent my way every so often and every time I just laugh because I’m so flattered! I really appreciate that you think I’d be able to help you learn your machine. I’m not even close to being an expert, and I learned most of what I know through reading tutorials on blog (much like the ones I try and offer here) as well as through good ol’ trial and error. Unfortunately I just don’t have the time available to do individual instruction….my toddler keeps me pretty busy!

A. I’m so happy you found something here enjoyable! That would be just lovely of you to share it! Yes, you may feature my site and work as long as you:
- Only use one photo.
- Do not do any editing of the photos and leave the watermark in tact.
- Give proper credit to me and my blog, including providing a text link back to the original post here.
- ABSOLUTELY NO copying and pasting of the text.
